Order language books and help save the world!

­Order language-learning books from the following links, and a percentage of the product you purchase will be donated to the My Language World Fund (the product does not have to be language-related to qualify, as long as it is purchased from the Fishpond, Language Lizard or Amazon links through this website). Once the goal has been met, the money is given to the charity concerned, and a new charity will be chosen to raise awareness and to help those in need around the world.

UNICEF NZ’s Silent Emergencies Fund

UNICEF's Silent Emergencies Fund acts as a pool of readily available funds that go to where the need is greatest, helping to save and improve the lives of children struck by disaster or living in emergency situations like war or famine. This includes ongoing emergencies in countries like Darfur, Congo (DRC), Haiti and the Horn of Africa. The fund also stands by for new emergencies so that UNICEF can act quickly, saving as many lives as possible.

NZ$21 is the price of 5 large woollen blankets that will give children warmth and protect them from the elements.

NZ$33 can provide 40 packets of high energy biscuits, especially developed for malnourished children in emergency situations.

NZ$138 can buy a basic family water kit, containing items such as water containers, buckets, soap, and water purification tablets, sufficient to meet the needs of 10 families.
