Our Rates & Payment Details

  • Translations: From NZ$ 40.00 per 100 words depending on complexity of text and language chosen (click here to convert to other currencies).
    • Fee includes proofreading by a second native speaker of the target language

  • Proofreading of documents written by ESL* speakers or documents written by native English speakers: NZ$ 40.00, plus NZ$ 10.00 for each additional lot of 100 words, depending on complexity & amount of amending required in text.
    *English as a Second Language

    • Please note: We have a minimum charge of NZ$ 40.00 for both translation and proofreading services.

  • Get-the-Gist - pay less and get just a summary of what the document is about in English, French or Italian (for those who don’t require a full, detailed translation and just want to get a rough idea of what the document is about):
    NZ$ 20.00 for a short paragraph summary
    (source text less than 2 pages);
    NZ$ 40.00 for a medium paragraph summary
    (source text less than 5 pages);
    NZ$ 60.00* for a longer paragaph summary
    (source text over 5 pages*)

    • *Get-the-Gist fee may increase for larger documents.

    Unless otherwise indicated, all prices quoted are exclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST). GST will automatically be added to quotes for clients based in New Zealand.

    How to Pay:
    We accept payment by direct credit to the My Language World Ltd account; cheques made out to ‘My Language World Ltd’ for New Zealand clients or by Paypal (click here to register with Paypal) for both international and New Zealand clients.

    Payment terms:
    Clients whose quote for services on this website is under NZ$ 200.00, must pay before we begin.

    For quotes over NZ$ 200.00 and for longer translation assignments, we request a one third deposit on acceptance of the quote and the balance when your translation is complete and ready for delivery.
